Day Nine: Half Up With Tiny Buns {30 Days, 30 Ways}

Day Nine: Half Up With Tiny Buns
Skill To Learn: Partings and Buns With Crossed Bobbies
Difficulty: Moderately Simple
Time Commitment: 20 Minutes
What You Need: Gel, Comb, 4 Bobby Pins

For Day Nine of 30 Days, 30 Ways, we are going to combine the skills from Day Two and Day Seven to create Tiny Buns.  Start by parting your wet hair down the center, and then subdivide it towards your ears on both sides.  Put one side into an elastic to keep it out of the way, and then comb your other section towards the back of the parting.  Begin to coil it and allow the hair to wind into a bun.  Anchor the bun using crossed bobbies, and if your hair is especially thick, you can use a third bobby pin as shown here.  Lastly, style the back with either a curly or straight style!  If you are feeling especially spunky, you can further extend your center part down the back and create two more buns in the back, just for fun!  And you can also add visual texture by pulling a couple sprigs out of each of your buns.  Just remember to touch them up with a pomade or shine serum to keep them looking intentional!

Have a great day and remember that someone needs a ray of light today that only you can shine.
Make time for inspiration, be yourself without apology and always light your world with goodness!
